Limitations of Labor Market Information: There are basic limitations to the process of labor market data collection and publication. These limitations include population samples, timeliness and institutional biases. Labor market information serves a broad array of users, including the business community, general public, educators, media and government. Obtained from employer surveys, administrative records and other sources, LMI provides information about the historical, current, and future state of the economy.
